Below is the list of my favorite non-comedogenic and non-irritant makeup products, safe to use on acne-prone skin. They won’t cause acne or breakouts, and are are all-natural and non-toxic. These are the products I know work and 100% stand behind. You can check out the full blog post on how I choose my makeup and why I avoid liquid foundations (you don’t want to miss this one if you have acne-prone skin):

Alima Pure Satin Matte Foundation (Alima Pure has an excellent acne-friendly line of products)

Alima Pure Balancing Primer Powder (great for very oily skin types, as kaolin in it will help absorb excess oil. It works great as a primer, keeping the skin looking fresh and smooth)

Alima Pure Concealer

Alima Pure Contour Powder

Alima Pure Bronzer

Alima Pure Satin Blush

Everyday minerals Semi-Matte Foundation (I have used this foundation the longest and have been very pleased with it. I use the shade Medium 4N)

Everyday Minerals Jojoba Base Foundation (jojoba esters may be pore-clogging for some, so use if you have somewhat dryish skin or want more shine)

Rejuva Minerals Mineral Foundation (this one is for oily skin types, as it contains kaolinite and boron nitride which absorb excess oil. The same ingredients may be irritating and too drying for other skin types)

MAKEUP BRUSHES

Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush  – this is one of my go-to loose foundation brushes. I love to use it when I just want to even out the skin tone, but my skin is still showing through. However, the coverage is really easily buildable and the bristles stay soft and do not fall out like with many others!

Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki Brush – I love this one when traveling, or when I need more coverage than usual. It is super soft and works amazing.

EcoTools Concealer Brush Duo – You definitely want a concealer brush if you don’t have one already, it makes all the difference when covering up the dark circles and spots!
